I moved to Hardwick working as a chartered accountant (now retired) in 1983 with my wife Jane and sons Chris and David. Chris and David both attended Hardwick Community Primary School followed by Comberton Village College and Hills Road Sixth Form.

Life member of Hardwick Football Club and a Founder Member of Hardwick Sports and Social Club as well as chairing Hardwick Cricket Club and Hardwick Community Association at times.

I was first elected as a Hardwick Parish Councillor in 1993 and served until 2002. I rejoined the Council in 2015, initially as chairman, and then took on a major role negotiating with developers for s106 contributions for additional or improved village facilities. Member of the Hardwick Community Centre Working Group.
